Bayview Yards Art Program
At Bayview Yards, we believe that creativity fuels innovation and that artists are entrepreneurs in their own right. Their work inspires new ways of thinking, sparks conversation, and contributes to the vibrant culture that shapes our city. As Ottawa’s one-stop business acceleration shop, we’re proud to support local artists by providing a platform that elevates both their work and their entrepreneurial journey.
Each month, approximately 7,700 people pass through our lobby. It’s a dynamic gathering space for founders, partners, community members, and visitors, and now, it will also be a gallery that highlights the exceptional artists who call Ottawa home.
Quarterly Art Exhibitions
We will feature a rotating selection of artwork from local artists, changing every quarter. Each exhibition offers artists the opportunity to gain visibility, connect with a broad and diverse audience, and share the stories behind their creative practice.
Supporting Creative Entrepreneurs
Artists are innovators, risk-takers, and small-business owners—entrepreneurs who build their careers through creativity, persistence, and vision. By opening our space to local talent, we aim to strengthen Ottawa’s creative economy, provide greater visibility to artists’ work, and foster deeper connections between the artistic and entrepreneurial communities.
This program is completely free to participate in, with no application or exhibition fees, and Bayview Yards does not take any commission on artwork sold. Artists are encouraged to sell their work and connect directly with buyers, creating meaningful opportunities for exposure and growth.
Participating artists will also remain connected to Bayview Yards for future exhibitions and potential corporate commission opportunities—extending the impact of the program beyond a single showcase.
Opportunities for Commissions
Displaying your work at Bayview Yards can open the door to new creative opportunities. Our community of founders, partners, and visitors frequently look to commission original artwork for their offices, events, and personal collections. By applying to our art program, you’ll not only gain exposure, you’ll also be added to our internal roster of artists who may be contacted for on-site commissions throughout the year.
