Bayview Yards is proud to present Bayview Meetups, an initiative that enables local meetup groups to fully maximize their event and impact on the Ottawa business community.

What We Offer
Ottawa’s Innovation Hub offers sponsorship through complimentary venue rental, event services, and promotional support to qualifying Ottawa Meetup groups.
Access to venue from 5-9PM on Monday or Tuesday
Complimentary Wi-Fi for all attendees
Event setup and tear down (including tables and chairs)
A Bayview Yards/Invest Ottawa staff member to oversee event
Full cleaning staff after the event
RBC Foundry:
The Bayview Yards RBC Foundry, with a maximum capacity of 250 attendees, which includes:
- 250 chairs
- Three tables: two buffet, one registration
- A security guard for the duration of the event, if required
- Audio-visual technology: two large projector screens, two handheld microphones, one lapel microphone, two microphone stands
Training Room:
The Bayview Yards Training Room, with a maximum seated capacity of 30 attendees which includes:
- 15 tables and 30 chairs
- A security guard for the duration of the event, if required
- Audio-visual technology: projector, screen, microphone and speaker

ELIGIBILITY
Your meetup could be eligible for sponsorship if:
- You have a strong technology focus, support female founders and women-led firms, or are advocates for diversity and inclusion within the Ottawa business community. Sectors of particular interest, include:
- GovTech
- Autonomous Vehicles
- Cyber Security
- Artificial Intelligence
- AgTech
- HealthTech
- You bring together industry leaders, passionate techies and entrepreneurs on a recurring basis (monthly, bi-monthly, etc…)
- Your event is free to the public and has room to grow: we have capacity for up to 250 attendees.
- The meetup’s mission and mandate closely aligns with Invest Ottawa and Bayview Yards’ mission and mandate.
- You are able to demonstrate a history of high member attendance or can provide a strategy to increase future attendance.

The Ottawa Autonomous Vehicle Group (OAVG) is on a mission to make autonomous vehicle tech accessible to all. The focus is to apply machine learning, control systems, electronics and more to small scale RC car projects. If you’re curious about emerging technologies, want to build your own AV project or engage with the local AV tech community we welcome anyone to join, regardless of skill level.
Immigrant Women / Non-binary Entrepreneurs Meetup
Being a newcomer to a country is probably one of the toughest decisions one has to face. It is filled with good, bad and uglies. When you also add being an entrepreneur, it is a rollercoaster ride that can feel lonely at times. This is why a couple of women Ottawa immigrant entrepreneurs decided to create a safe space where women & non-binary entrepreneurs can meet, connect, network, share ideas and grow.

Dive into a dynamic space where tech enthusiasts converge to dissect technical processes, unravel the mysteries of machine learning, and delve into all things Ai! With over 200 passionate members this group is the place to connect with AI / LLM practitioners to share knowledge and code.
COCOAHEADS
Cocoaheads is a group devoted to discussion of Apple’s frameworks for programming on macOS, iOS, tvOS, watchOS, and visionOS. We also dabble in server-side technologies (including Swift, of course), and are very curious about web technologies and the Internet of Things. During monthly meetings, members present on their projects and offer tutorials on various programming topics.
